Explain this!

OK, so I just heard on the radio that eleventy billion Cowboys fans are all mad at Jessica Simpson for Romo's performance in the last Cowboys game (which incidentally, I happily heard it was his worst in his career - college or pro).

Here's where you lost me. We were all mad at Carrie Underwood when she was linked to Romo because he was similarly playing badly back then.

So, from where I sit, there is one constant and it isn't the chica sitting next to him. Why do these crazy die hard Cowboys fans not blame Romo for 1. most recently, having very very bad taste (I mean, Jessica Simpson? My expeirence with Mid West Boys is they have their feet on the ground and good heads on their shoulders. Is this a classic opposites attract for the Ro-Man?) and 2. Not being able to keep his head in the game!

Really folks, the fact that the girls exist is not their problem. We have their parents to thank (or blame...ahem...Joe Simpson) for that. And that Tony is attracted to them and wants to spend time with them? That's pretty much a combination between laws of nature and some poor choices on Romo's part. But if he makes a career out of playing football and gets paid what he does to do it, why is he not being held accountable for not doing what he is contracted to do?

And P.S. , make no mistake about it. I'm tickled pink every time the Cowboys lose...it really matters not why in my book. But let's give credit where credit is due. This concludes my rant. Thanks.

Excellent Rant!! I totally agree 100%.

Now everyone gather round, here's a little story about Lois. When Lois was in 10th grade she was dating a boy named Kellan (i know, weird name) and he played varsity basketball. His coach came to him one day and said, "Kellan, did you just get a girlfriend or something?" Kellan says, "Well sort of, why?" Coach: "Because it's showing in your basketball performance. Either break up or change something." So the coach proceeds to tell him that I cannot come to games anymore and that we are not allowed to see each other or talk on the phone the night before a game!! Our whole dating lives revolved around his stupid basketball schedule. Then his parents get the great idea to "sneak" me into the games so Kellan won't know. Okay, has anyone seen me lately? I am a 6 foot tall, blonde girl. Hello!! BIG BIRD. Try sneaking BIG BIRD into a basketball game. So of course he knew I was there and then his coach got super mad. I mean, I know I am hottie, but seriously, I had nothing to do with that kids ability to play freaking basketball. If he can't keep his head in the game, that's his problem.

Hilarious Lois! Now I totally agree about Romo being the issue and not the girls (I also heard Radio DJs go on and on about this in the morning). However, I do like both JS and CU and I think he does have good taste in women, in my opinion. They should just be banned from his games.

I think Romo and Simpson were made for each other...

Romo is about as ditzy as a man gets.

First off, let me say "DOWN WITH THE BOYS!!" I have hated the Cowboys since I can remember. It does not surprise me that Romo played horribly last night. It's just one of those wierd quirks that is just part of life. Get a good looking girl to watch a boy, and inevitably the guy is going to suck. It happened to Tiger Woods when he started dating his wife - so it's no surprise that Romo sucked it up.

That being said - excuses are like feet, everybody's got them, and they all stink!!! True champions win in spite of adversity, not fail because of it. I personally think that the losing teams in every professional sport should not get paid unless they win. Let's see how long Romo goes on saying to all women, "I'm waiting for a girl to say, 'Hey you're rich, let's go out' ". Pretty boy won't have much money if he keeps this up!

In conclusion I have a list of people who I won't be happy until they're working at Wal-Mart. Looks like one more name was just added.

I was at Albertsons last night and on my way back to the car, the lady pulling in the grocery carts stopped me and said "I can't believe the Cowboys lost because of that girl, Jennifer Lopez". I just smiled and went along my merry way.

That is hilarious! I would have laughed so hard. WHAT A CRACK UP! Dallas fans angry at the wrong girl. That's rich. I love it!

Tammy, you HAVE to see this! I tried posting it on the Lisonbee blog but it wouldn't let me. Anyway, go onto my blog and scroll all the way to the bottom of the page. You'll see a couple blank screens where you can click on a play button. The one on the bottom is the one you gotta see! lol Anyway, you might want to click on the pause button on the music player first before starting the video. The music player is right below those things. Let me know what you think! It's pretty darn hilarious if I may say so myself.

I love any reason to dislike Jessica Simpson even more.
