The Boss was back in town
So my cute trainer from my mission came in to town to keep me in line. I got to meet up with her and her husband and have dinner and catch up on old times. We had such fun on the mission and it was so much fun to reminisce. Plus, she had a great time poking my ever increasing belly and laughing at how glad she was to not be pregnant anymore.
Oh, and before I forget, Adam the rock star fixed our A/C last night. It's amazing what a 10 degree dip at my house will do for my mood. (Thanks to the most fabulous visiting teacher ever, Lindsay, for a super helpful tip.)

For reals?
What's more fun than 102 degree heat in the middle of a Texas summer? Being 9 months pregnant when your A/C quits on you.
The good news is:
1. I work in an office so I don't feel it most of the day;
2. it's covered by our home warranty; and
3. perhaps this home grown sauna will help prevent superfluous weight gain in the last few weeks of pregnancy.
In all honesty, I would so much rather be hot than cold so it's not like it's torturing me. But the irony is just priceless, isn't it?

Does this dress make me look fat? Because I for sure have not put any weight on...:)
Well, here you have it. In an especially bold display of bravado (and possibly because enough of you who live far away have nagged me about "hiding" in every picture), here I am in all of my 9 months pregnant glory. Thanks to all of you who lie to me and tell me I'm all baby, who tell me that it's not that hard to lose the weight and who don't ask me if I'm sure it's not twins. And an especially huge thanks to all of you who have mercifully refrained from telling me that you only gained 2.6 pounds with your babies and it all came off before you left the hospital. You have no idea how much I appreciate it.
People tell me I'll look back with great fondness on these pictures that show my robust belly. I sure hope so. In the meantime, I'm just counting down the days. I can't wait to meet her...and to be able to see my feet again. Wish me luck on both counts!
