Wee Little Braun - ETA August 12, 2008

No, I'm not kidding. Here's the proof! So my first proud moment of this process was when this little guy did the Robot right away when he popped onto the Sonogram screen. His little hands grooving, his head bobbing. I can already tell this kid is awesome. This little penguin here is how I told Adam. I wrote Baby's First Christmas on his belly, wrapped him up and handed him to Adam a few weeks before Christmas as an early Christmas present. Adam has not stopped smiling since. We're really excited! Terrified, of course, because we are sure we have no idea what we've gotten ourselves into, but extraordinarily humbled and happy for this next phase in the Braun story.

Wow! I'm so excited for you! I'm feeling some pity since you'll be pregnant through the hot summer, but it will go by fast and be more than worth it. Congratulations!!

Tams, you are hilarious. That cute little baby lump barely has arm nubs yet! They do come instantly with personality though, one of the joys of life.

CONGRATS! I'm pretty excited you get to have your very own rug rat. I bet you're both pleased as punch (whatever that really means). Ah I can almost hear the little patter of baby braun steps now. Any one else have the song "Tiny Dancer" stuck in their head?

Congratulations! You guys will make such great parents. I will admit that being pregnant through the summer is definitely not fun, but the bundle of joy at the end makes it all worth it!

oh my gosh! i had no idea, and i am sooooo excited for you. being a mom is the best thing in the world. it's also the most stressful, fun, and tiring...i guess you could say it's the most_____ (fill in the word with whatever you want). but, it really is the best. you'll be awesome, and that little boy has no idea how blessed he is.

Congratulations! Mommyhood is almost as good as marriage. Take it from a new mom. It is the best! So when you say "he" do you really know that is what your having?

Tamara said...

I don't know what the gender of the baby is. I just know the Penguin was a "he." I'll let you guys know as soon as I know! :)

This is the "Greg" half of Greg and Tammy.

CONGRATS!!!! That is so exciting. It's so much fun (and completely exhausting at the same time)

So maybe Emma and your little baby can be in the same law school study group--or who am I kidding, I'm not sending my kids to Law School, aren't we supposed to help our kids learn from our mistakes?!?! At a minimum we can make sure they are in the same BYU Freshman ward!

Congratulations! That is so exciting. I'm picturing a little 5-yr-old coming home from kindergarten with a texas drawl (to the horror/delight of his mother).

Tams,
I think we should get Nate and baby Braun matching cowboy boots. I hope hope you have a boy because Nate Dawg needs a buddy!

Congratulations!!! Apparently I haven't checked your blog in a while because I just found out after reading the comment you left on my blog. I am so excited for you guys! How have you been feeling? Are you out of the first trimester yet? I hope everything goes well and I can't wait to hear what you guys are having!!!

Make sure the little one acquires some Scrabble skills, because somebody in the Braun household has to figure out how to beat me someday! Mwahahaha. And by that I mean, of course, congratulations.

Tamara,

I know this is random, but I ran across your blog via my friend's wife's blog (Sarah and Jon in SoCal) You may not remember, but we went to law school together. I graduated in '05. Funny enough, my firm might be moving us from SoCal to Dallas in a few months. Got any tips?

How did I not know about all this pregnancy stuff? I guess I'm just not asking the right questions... Next time, please proclaim news such as this from large pedestals, something similar to a rameumptum.

Rhia Jean said...

Ummm...yeah! Hi! Totally clueless here as well. Just do one thing for me: give your child a normal, pronouncable, readable name. Speaking from experience, just go with normal. :)

Jen said...

Yea!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!! I'm sure your pregnancy will give you many things to blog about....
